R. Narayana Murthy is currently producing and directing a film titled Erra Samudram. This film protest against converting fertile lands into SEZs (Special Economic Zones). Narayana Murthy says that SEZs are supposed to be given unfertile lands, but the government is doing just the opposite. This film will be released on 6 March on the eve of Maha Siva Rathri.
